Dresscode

Now, we can of course put all kinds of dress codes out there, and making you figure out what we mean with 'Summer Chic' or 'Beach Formal'. However, we decided we will explain what we would suggest for you to wear on our wedding so nobody will feel under- or overdressed. We even included some pictures below as reference.

So, some background information:

Our wedding will take place at the beautiful Hotel Hermitage as you know by now. At this resort we have planned our ceremony on the grass. The ceremony will not take all day, it starts in the afternoon and we arranged chairs to sit on. As the rest of the day will be off the grass, there is no reason to leave your high heels at home. It is spring, but we are on an island, so there is no guarantee for good weather. Don't expect 30+ degrees (it'll probably be between 20-25) and even though at night we will be mostly indoors, it might become chilly (think 10-15 degrees).

Ladies

We are sure that long dresses or cocktail dresses will bring out the best in you. Colourful dresses or using coloured touches (as long as you are not in a white dress!) will be your ticket to a great and care-free day! We want you to enjoy the wedding, and not checking out every dress to see if you misunderstood the dresscode.

Gentlemen

Every man looks better in a suit. But please leave your black / dark suits at home. Lighter colours are preferred. You can even go with a different colour jacket. Tie is optional, and although they are very comfortable, sneakers are not an option. Refrain from sweatpants and t-shirts, too. Don't worry, we know this is in contrary to what Wissam is usually wearing, but he is also learning.

Just to be clear, this is only applicable for the day of the wedding, the other days there is only ONE thing important. You.have.fun.
